Japanese Cartoon is the brainchild of Grammy Award Winning Musician Wasalu Jaco more popularly known as Lupe Fiasco together with Graham Burris, Matt Nelson & Le Messie. Japanese Cartoon was brought together as a physical manifestation for all things of the leftfield nature and an experimental outlet to mix and mash genre defying musical compositions. Wasalu brought up as the son of a Black Panther activist has always had a strong political message behind his body of works, this together with the Noam Chomsky inspired Anarchist antics of Le Messie’s (Creator of street wear brand FALSE) creative mind create a strong controversial group of musical rebels.
